Discover how to turn your photos into paintings and create four mixed media pieces in this hands-on workshop.  In this workshop, you will:
- learn the simple process of transferring laser and photocopied images onto your backgrounds using acrylic mediums
- learn tips and tricks for incorporating transfers into a piece, troubleshooting, layering techniques, useful tools and more
- discover how to get the soft, translucent glow of encaustic and the smooth, high gloss look of resin using just acrylic gels and medium - including different formulas and recipes for various wax and resin looks, and tips for successful application
- work with different materials, such as collage papers and Crackle Paste, to create rich backgrounds for your images
- explore using Iridescent and Interference colors as a background, to mimic gold leaf, and to embellish your piece
